- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: PCU Nights operating like telemetry unit; patient diagnoses include telemetry, telemetry stroke, some cardiac medications 3. Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH/NIHSS required; all RNs required to obtain ACLS by compliance deadline 4. License: Valid state license required at time of submission; MO license or compact license required; Illinois not compact state; compact license must match permanent residence state 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC charting system; EPIC experience required for certain units 7. Shifts/Call: No on-call required; guaranteed 36 hours for 3-12s; weekend requirement every other weekend (2 shifts); 6 weekend shifts in 6 week schedule 8. RTO: No more than 7 days per 13 week contract; no RTO first week; must be indicated on submittal and cannot be changed 9. Returning Staff: Permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as traveler; standard travelers can stay 18 months then take 3 month break 10. Travel/Local: No local candidates within 75 mile radius 11. Background: No medical marijuana cards accepted 12. Modules: Billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr; completed pre-start through WorkRamp; must start within 1 week of contract and complete 2 Fridays before start date 13. Travel Experience: First-timers accepted 14. Scrubs: Navy color 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Must screen for required skills; telemetry equipment Critical: Patient ratios 1:5-6 nights, 1:5 days; will float to telemetry; labs must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing; references preferred at submittal; fit testing required with facial hair restrictions.
