Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: MS-type patient populations; all types of patient diagnoses 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS required; current BCLS certification 4. License: Valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission 5. Education: Must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3 x 12-hour shifts, 7:00PM - 7:30AM; minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule; float required to different units within OSU organization 8. RTO: Required with submission, must be built into contract; two pre-approved time off requests 9. Returning Staff: Former employees eligible for travel assignment once away from facility for 6 months or more; current employees ineligible to be hired as traveler at any OSU hospital location 10. Travel/Local: Travel experience required; locals accepted at same rate 11. Background: Strict compliance deadline of Tuesday prior to start; urgent Ohio fingerprinting process required 12.
