- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: General Surgery, Trauma Level 3, Vascular Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Podiatry, Gastrointestinal Surgery, Colorectal Surgery 3. Certifications: BLS required 4. License: Valid compact or state license required in hand at time of submission 5. Education: Must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 6. EMR: Epic system experience is mandatory 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, no on-call duty required 8. RTO: Required with submission, must be built into contract; two pre-approved time off requests allowed 9. Returning Staff: Former employees eligible for travel assignment once away from facility for 6 months or more; current employees ineligible to be hired as travelers 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at the same rate 11. Background: Strict compliance deadline Tuesday prior to start; urgent Ohio fingerprinting process required immediately after contract signing 12.
