Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years of MedSurg experience required 2. Cases: All system issues in geriatric population 3. Certifications: BLS required 4. License: Valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission 5. Education: Must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12's nights, 36 hours; weekend and rotating holidays; 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule 8. RTO: Required with submission, must be built into contract; one pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: Former employees eligible after 6+ months away; current employees ineligible as travelers 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate 11. Background: Strict compliance deadline Tuesday prior to start; urgent Ohio fingerprinting required immediately after contract signing 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: Previous travel experience preferred 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Ergonomic equipment, bladder scanner, EKG Critical: Float required within OSU organization as needed. Patient ratios 1:3-4. Skills required: IV start, telemetry. Two professional references required (at least one from manager/director). Strict fingerprinting compliance required.
