- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; will consider 1+ years of recent unit experience 2. Cases: Inpatient adults with life-threatening multisystem or cardiac conditions including sepsis, MI, unstable angina, Coronary Artery Disease, cardiac patients receiving IV antiarrhythmic therapy, vasoactive infusions, and anticoagulation 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required 4. License: SC RN License required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: 1-year minimum EPIC EMR experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 Nights 1900-0730; weekend coverage every other but may change based on need; call is volume managed; float required to like units or other facilities 8. RTO: Pre-approved time off limited to one 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Must be 100+ miles from every Prisma facility for full rate; 90-99.9 miles accepted at 10% bill rate reduction; night shift exception allows 50+ miles from contracted campus 11. Background: Must send Social Security Number with submittal 12. Modules: Pre-assignment testing and modules required within 48 hours; billable up to 16 hours; completed pre-start and annually 13. Travel Experience: Will review first time travelers based on experience 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - No Exemptions 16. Special Equipment: Vasoactive drug administration, antiarrhythmic drug therapy, thrombolytic therapy, defibrillation/cardioversion, thoracentesis, cardiac telemetry monitoring, EKG, non-invasive blood pressure monitoring Critical: Patient ratios 1:5 during days. Orientation every Monday with 24 hours total. Extensions limited to 3 consecutive contracts maximum before conversion to employee status required.
