- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required; 18 months permanent experience in specialty required prior to travel assignments 2. Cases: Med/Surg Telemetry cases 3. Certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS & NIHSS cert required; must be active with nothing pending 4. License: Permanent Ohio license required in hand at submission; compact licenses accepted for starts 1/1/23 and forward; facility does not accept any license hits 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Not specified 7. Shifts/Call: D/N rotating shift 7pm-7:30am/7am-7:30pm; 3x12's only; shifts may be variable to meet operational needs; must work at least every other holiday 8. RTO: All RTO must be discussed during interview and included at time of submission 9. Returning Staff: Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate 11. Background: Background hits reviewed but will not accept traveler with open case; negative 10 Panel + Nicotine drug screen required within 12 months of start 12. Modules: Average 6-15 hours completed pre-start; 4 hours billable, additional time non-billable; recorded via Silkroad; annual modules billable up to 4 hours 13. Travel Experience: 18 months permanent experience in specialty required prior to travel 14. Scrubs: Not specified 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16.
