Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: Post-operative care; UC/Crohn's, cirrhosis, surgical patients (colorectal, hepatobiliary, emergency general surgery, trauma, urology, gynonc surgery), medicine patients 3. Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred; copies required with submission 4. License: VA license (pending acceptable, must have in-hand Wednesday before start date); Nursys verification required for submittal 5. Education: BSN preferred 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Nights available, 36 or 48 hours, patient ratios 1:4 or 1:5; every other weekend, every other holiday; float required to other adult AC units 8. RTO: Up to 40 hours guaranteed per 13-week contract; no additional RTO approved after acceptance 9. Returning Staff: Must inform if previously employed at UVA Health system; requires one-year separation and leadership approval; cannot return after working 365 days regardless of separation 10. Travel/Local: This unit does not have mile radius rule (select other units have 50-mile restriction) 11. Background: Must inform Client Delivery Manager of any background hits 12. Modules: Non-billable up to 16 hours, completed during orientation, recorded in Workday; excess hours are billable 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with no exemptions 16. Special Equipment: ETCO2 monitoring with GE B450 monitors Critical: References required.
