Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: General Surgery and Trauma patients; Trauma Level I experience preferred 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred not required; copies required with submissions 4. License: VA license accepted pending, must have license in-hand Wednesday before start date 5. Education: BSN preferred 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Nights, 36 or 48 hours; block scheduling cannot be accommodated/guaranteed 8. RTO: Maximum 40 hours guaranteed per 13-week contract; no additional requests approved after acceptance 9. Returning Staff: Must inform Client Delivery Manager if previously employed at UVA Health system; 365-day maximum assignment limit regardless of separation periods 10. Travel/Local: This specific unit does not have mile radius restrictions based on listed exclusions 11. Background: Must inform Client Delivery Manager if aware of any background hits 12. Modules: Non-billable up to 16 hours, completed during orientation, vary by specialty, recorded in Workday 13. Travel Experience: Yes, required 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with no exemptions 16. Special Equipment: Telemetry monitoring, capnography, end-tidal CO2 monitoring, continuous pulse oximetry Critical: Nursys verification required for submittal. Must adhere to UVA float policy. Cannot work more than 365 days regardless of time off between contracts.
