Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required 2. Cases: Wide range of medical diagnoses including diabetes, sickle cell crisis, COPD exacerbations, ESRD with pulmonary hypertension, wounds, drains, tubes 3. Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred but not required; copies required with submission 4. License: VA license accepted pending but must have license in-hand Wednesday before start date; Nursys verification required for submittal 5. Education: BSN preferred 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 36 or 48 hours available, every other weekend, nights, 1:4 patient ratio 8. RTO: Up to 40 hours guaranteed per 13-week contract; unable to approve Memorial Day, July 4th, or Labor Day; no additional RTO after acceptance 9. Returning Staff: Must inform Client Delivery Manager if previously employed at UVA Health system; must be separated one year and approved by leadership; cannot return after working 365 days regardless of separation 10. Travel/Local: Select units have 50-mile travel restriction; this unit not listed as restricted 11. Background: Must inform Client Delivery Manager if aware of background hits 12. Modules: Non-billable up to 16 hours, excess time is billable; completed during orientation, vary by specialty, recorded in Workday 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with no exemptions 16.
