Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required for submission 2. Cases: Medical and Telemetry patients; acutely ill adult and geriatric general medicine/surgical or infectious disease patients requiring telemetry monitoring for non-acute cardiac conditions 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required; CPI preferred; ACLS must be obtained by compliance deadline 4. License: Illinois license required in hand at time of submission (Illinois is NOT a compact state) 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic charting preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Days 0700-1930 3x12s, no call, every other weekend required 8. RTO: No more than 7 days per 13-week contract, no RTO first week, must be on submittal 9. Returning Staff: Former permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 75-mile radius rule; no local candidates accepted 11. Background: No medical marijuana cards accepted 12. Modules: Billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr, completed pre-start through WorkRamp, must be completed 2 Fridays prior to start date 13. Travel Experience: Unit accepts first-time travelers 14. Scrubs: Navy scrubs 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Not specified Critical: Float required within service line. Patient ratio nights 1:5. Labs must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing. References preferred at submittal.
