Requirements
- Required certification: Speech Language Pathologist
- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years required; minimum 1 year required 2. Cases: Modified Barium Swallow Studies; hybrid position both inpatient and outpatient; typically 1-3 adult outpatients per day, rest acute hospital 3. Certifications: BLS, CCC-SLP required; LA fire card within last 30 days required 4. License: CA license must be in hand; state license required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Monday-Friday; no call required; no weekend coverage 8. RTO: Must be included at time of submission; 7 days maximum; must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays 9. Returning Staff: Can return after 3 months; must disclose previous Providence facility work 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius rule; locals accepted at lower rate 11. Background: Must disclose license/background hits upfront; no open license hits approved 12. Modules: Non-billable, average 16 hours; completed pre-start and annually; over 20 hours requires approval 13. Travel Experience: First timers considered 14. Scrubs: Navy blue for general staff; OR provided 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Must independently perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies Critical: Two references covering 1 year within last 3 years required. All travelers expected to float between facilities within state. Guaranteed hours with facility able to call off once per two-week pay period.
