Requirements
- Required certification: RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist
- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year minimum acute experience required 2. Cases: High risk delivery experience preferred; if no experience, must be open to high risk training on site 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, OH RRT required; must be AHA certifications; copies required at submission 4. License: OH RRT License must be in hand to submit 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Weekend coverage required; floating required as needed within Metro Region between Toledo, Flower, Bay Park Hospitals including mid-shift floating 8. RTO: If requesting more than 7 days, defer to manager for approval; no holidays or holiday eves/days after holidays; maximum two pre-approved time off requests 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone 1 year for permanent staff 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius; locals not accepted 11. Background: Fingerprinting required for specific units; Ohio FBI/BCI results take 4-6 weeks and travelers cannot start with results pending 12. Modules: First 4 hours non-billable; exceeding 4 hours billable up to 8 additional hours (12 hours total); completed during orientation and annually 13. Travel Experience: Unit accepts first-time travelers 14. Scrubs: Grey scrub color required 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Servo I, Avea, Bella Vista ventilator experience required Critical: Must obtain NRP prior to start date. Must be comfortable with all patient age groups including basic pediatrics. Floating to other facilities is expectation. Two references from last 24 months required.
