Requirements
- Required certification: RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist
- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: Adult Critical Care experience required; Care with Patients with ARDS/Pneumonia required 3. Certifications: BLS required, RRT and state licensed required, ACLS preferred; All RNs required to obtain ACLS by compliance deadline 4. License: Valid state license required at time of submission; Missouri requires MO license or compact license; Illinois requires license in hand at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred; Epic is the charting system throughout BJC system 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s nights 1800-0630; Every other weekend required; No on-call required 8. RTO: No more than 7 days RTO per 13 week contract; No RTO first week of assignment; RTO must be on submittal and cannot be changed 9. Returning Staff: Permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as traveler; Standard travelers can stay 18 months then must take 3 month break 10. Travel/Local: 75 mile radius; No local candidates accepted within 75 mile radius 11. Background: No medical marijuana cards accepted 12. Modules: Billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr; Completed pre-start through WorkRamp; Must be completed 2 Fridays prior to start date 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Ceil Blue 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: Servo U/Avea Ventilators, V60/Resmed, IPV, Biwaze Cough Assist, Vest, Versapap/Aerobika Critical: Labs must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing. References preferred at submittal. Will not float within scope or to sister facilities. Work with 5-7 therapists per night shift in 30 Bed MICU and 10 Bed Cardiac ICU.
