- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: Not specified 3. Certifications: BLS, RRT required (RRT is HARDSTOP); must be AHA or American Red Cross 4. License: Missouri Respiratory Care Practitioner License required; compact license must match permanent residence state 5. Education: Bachelor's degree or higher strongly preferred or actively working towards bachelor's degree 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Three 12-hour shifts per week; every third weekend rotation; every other weekend required per BJC policy 8. RTO: No more than 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO first week; must be specified at submittal and cannot be changed 9. Returning Staff: Permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as traveler; standard travelers can stay 18 months then take 3-month break 10. Travel/Local: 75-mile radius rule; no local candidates accepted 11. Background: No medical marijuana cards accepted 12. Modules: Billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr; completed pre-start through WorkRamp; must start within 1 week of contract and complete 2 Fridays before start date 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Medium to dark gray 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: PB840s and PB980 primary vents; Hamiltons limited; various respiratory equipment specified Critical: RRT credential is HARDSTOP requirement.
