- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission; NICU and/or PICU experience required (hard stop) 2. Cases: ED, level 1 trauma facility, NICU, pediatric critical care, pediatrics 3. Certifications: BCLS, RRT required; BLS, NRP, PALS required; all RNs required to obtain ACLS by compliance deadline 4. License: Valid state license required at time of submission; Missouri requires MO license or compact license; Illinois requires license in hand at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC charting system; EPIC experience required for certain units 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend required; no on-call required; 36 guaranteed hours 8. RTO: 2 requests maximum; no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO first week; must be on submittal 9. Returning Staff: Permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as traveler; standard travelers can stay 18 months then take 3-month break 10. Travel/Local: No local candidates accepted within 75-mile radius 11. Background: No medical marijuana cards accepted 12. Modules: Billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr; completed pre-start through WorkRamp; must start within 1 week of signed contract and complete 2 Fridays before start date 13. Travel Experience: First-timers accepted 14. Scrubs: Any color or St. Louis Children's Hospital T-shirts/jackets 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Servo ventilator, nitric oxide, HFO Critical: Labs must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing. References preferred at submittal. All travelers float within service line. Fit testing required.
