- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; critical care experience required for high volume ER, Level 1 Trauma Center 2. Cases: Neurotrauma, cardiovascular services, medical/surgical ICU patients 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) by NBRC required; CRT not accepted 4. License: VA State Board of Medicine licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner required; other state licenses accepted but must obtain 90-day temporary authorization while VA permanent license processes 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s nights 7p-7a (4x12 available by request); may be EOW or 6 weekend shifts in 6-week block 8. RTO: All requests must be included with submission 9. Returning Staff: Previous employees must be gone minimum one year; after 365 days worked, cannot return despite separation period (effective July 1, 2025) 10. Travel/Local: 100-mile radius rule; locals not accepted; exception for RRT (Neo/Peds) 50-99.9 miles away for one assignment with no extension 11. Background: Not specified 12.
