- Required certification: RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist
- 1+ years of experience
- Unit Notes:- # treatments per day : 40-50 - Certs (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP?) RRT or is CRT acceptable?: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, Highly prefers RRT will consider CRT - Types of patients (adults, peds, and neonates?) : Mainly Adults, Few Peds in the ER, - CRRT, IABP, CABG/AVR/MVR, TAVR, lung surgicals. - What areas do they cover (Inpatient, Outpatient, ER, Rehab, Sleep Lab, etc.): Cover all areas - Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must have 1 year of experience - Job Duties (ie: Do RTs draw ABGs, perform EKGs, etc.) : Draw ABG's, Occasionally do EKG. -Are RTs Required to be able to Intubate Independently or only to assist?: Assist - Respiratory Manager/Supervisor/Lead Therapist?: Manager M-F, Typically a lead available - Shifts & Scheduling (*Would they ever be the only RT in-house?): 6:30-7 - self schedule - Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd Weekend - Holiday Requirement: Rotate in with perm staff - Call or standby call requirement?: Not typically - What is call response time: 30Minutes - Scrub Color/Dress Code: Maroon - Wine burgundy - RT Equipment (Brand for Vents, Cpap, Bipap, High Flow): Drager, LTV, I-vent, V-60, vapotherms - Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Both 24/7 - Department Specific Orientation: 2 Days - Additional Notes: PAPR, CAPR and N95 - Additional Questions: How do you bounce back from a difficult day?
