Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Active California RN license required before start
- Unit Notes:6/8 or 6/22 orientation *Moderate Sedation experience required (If anesthesia is not available), prior Cerner charting preferred - Unit: Endoscopy/GI lab - # procedures per day: Average3-5 cases, and emergency cases - Certs: BLS,ACLS, NIH stroke - EMR: Cerner-Surginet - Charge Nurse: yes - Weekend Requirement: Call required on weekends - Holidays: As needed - Call: required - Scrub Color: Special scrubs provided by dept - Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: yes - IV Team: no - RT 24/: yes - Pharmacy 24/7: yes - Shifts: Varied shifts/8hrs - Floating: Yes, float to PACU/ACU - Floor specific orientation: Yes, 2-3 days dept orientation - Common cases/procedures: EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, MRCP, biopsies - Additional Notes: Must have at least 2> years of GI experience Cancellation Policy:Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13 week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments that are less than 13 weeks Charting System:Cerner BSN Required:False License to Submit:Yes Trauma Level: Care Setting:Acute Division:Nursing Shift Notes:M-F 8 hours. Start time depend on first case and and is 1 hour arrival before case. Call required- one evening shift per week (end of regular shift to 0700 and one weekend per month (48hours) Required Certifications:ACLS, BLS Certification, COVID Vaccine Required, Crisis Protocol Approved, NIHSS
