Requirements
- Required certification: RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist
- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; 18 months experience required per general policy 2. Cases: Adult ICU, General Care and Adult Intensive Care 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NBRC RRT required 4. License: IN license required, must be in hand prior to start date 5. Education: Must be in-person, accredited by CoARC and regionally accredited through CHEA; University must be accredited by ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation 6. EMR: Cerner preferred; no specific charting required for IU health positions 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s or 4x12s; cannot work more than 5 days in a row; weekend coverage required 8. RTO: Auto-approve 5 days non-holiday RTO or less; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays 9. Returning Staff: PERM or PRN employees must be away 12 months before applying as traveler; consecutive contract policy requires designated breaks after 12 months 10. Travel/Local: IN residents considered local; locals accepted for some positions but not MS, MS Tele, PCU, ICU, and ER; offered in-state rate at lower BR 11. Background: Must be noted prior to submission to seek approval prior to offer 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: First time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15.
