- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of recent experience within the last 7 years required 2. Cases: General ED adult/pediatric ER experience required 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS required; must pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms 4. License: Must have either compact license, MD license, or DC license in hand (depending on location) 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 1900-0700; every other weekend required; every other holiday required; patient ratio 4:1 8. RTO: No RTO permitted during first two weeks; no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; must be included at submittal 9. Returning Staff: Must have been separated from MedStar employment for minimum one year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 60-mile radius; locals accepted at lower rate; candidate address must match driver's license 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Sitel modules must be completed within one week of signing contract; average 12 hours duration; billable up to 4 hours 13.
