Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years with 18 months recent ICU; 18 months minimum experience required 2. Cases: Not specified 3. Certifications: NBRC (RRT), ACLS, BCLS, RRT required; PALS required for specific units 4. License: IN license required; must be in hand prior to start date 5. Education: Must be accredited through CoARC and regionally accredited through CHEA; University must be accredited by ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation 6. EMR: Cerner preferred; no specific charting required for IU health positions 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend required (Sat/Sun plus two rotating weekdays); must work 2 out of 3 major holidays 8. RTO: Can auto-approve 5 days of non-holiday RTO or less; anything more requires facility approval 9. Returning Staff: Any PERM or PRN employee must be away for 12 months before applying as traveler; consecutive contract policy requires designated breaks for eligibility reset 10. Travel/Local: IN residents considered local; locals accepted for Surgical Services, Allied, and IU Clinics at lower rate; locals not accepted for MS, MS Tele, PCU, ICU, and ER positions 11. Background: Must note background policy prior to submission to seek approval prior to offer 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: First time travelers accepted 14.
