Qualifications:

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required (some units accept 1 year, first-time travelers accepted) 2. Cases: RRT NICU/Adult; airway management, medication administration, ABGs, O2 therapy, suction, pulmonary toileting, BiPAP, CPAP, nebulizers; NICU, ED and adult ICU experience preferred 3. Certifications: BLS, CRTT, ACLS required (90-day window from start to obtain ACLS); NRP and RRT preferred; all required certs must be obtained prior to start 4. License: VA License or Compact required at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required/preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Night shift position; potential mandatory on-call 2-3 shifts per month; every other weekend and holiday required 8. RTO: At manager's discretion; more than 7 days RTO requires adding week at end of assignment; only 1 holiday request for some units 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone 1 year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: No local radius rule; locals accepted at same rate; will float within hospital or affiliate hospitals 11. Background: Nursys only 12. Modules: 8 hours average, non-billable, completed pre-start within 1 week via WorkRamp 13. Travel Experience: Required 14. Scrubs: Wine color 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with no exemptions 16. Special Equipment: Preferred ventilators - Servo U, Servo Air, Servo N Critical: Must float to ER and Adult ICU Stepdown units. Traveler expected to be Team Lead at times. Must attend monthly department meetings or read minutes and acknowledge. Travel pairs not allowed on SICU unit.
