- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 4 years required 2. Cases: Adult critical care, ER, community hospital experience required; NICU, ED, and adult ICU experience preferred; Level II Trauma experience required; Level I Trauma experience preferred 3. Certifications: BLS, CRTT, ACLS, VA License required (90-day window from start date to obtain ACLS - may start with pending); RRT preferred 4. License: VA or Compact License required at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required/preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Mandatory on-call 3 shifts per 6 weeks; every other weekend required; every other holiday 8. RTO: At manager's discretion; need to add week at end of assignment if requesting more than 7 days RTO; OR/CST unit only takes 1 holiday request 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone 1 year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: No radius rule; locals accepted at same rate; will float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby 11. Background: Nursys only 12. Modules: 8 hours average, non-billable, completed pre-start via WorkRamp within 1 week of signing 13. Travel Experience: Yes, required; first-timers accepted 14. Scrubs: Wine color 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - No Exemptions 16. Special Equipment: Preferred ventilators: Servo U, Servo Air Critical: Must float to ER and Adult ICU Stepdown units. Charge experience preferred but charge responsibility required. Must include middle initial at submission. Must obtain all required certifications prior to start. Travel pairs not allowed on SICU unit.
