- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Must have at least 2 years experience in NICU, pediatric critical care, and pediatrics along with ED 2. Cases: Level IV NICU, pediatric cardiac anomalies 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS required; must be in-hand at submission; RRT preferred, CRT considered case by case 4. License: NC RRT license required in-hand (takes 2-4 weeks); Compact or NC license must be in-hand; Nursys required for RNs 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: 6 weekend shifts per schedule (published in 6-week blocks); orientations bi-weekly 8. RTO: Must be included with submission, 5-7 days max; two pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: Previously permanent Duke University Health System employment must be included in employment history; must not have been permanent Duke employee within past 6 months 10.
