- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required; must have level 4 NICU experience; cardiac PICU experience preferred 2. Cases: Level 4 NICU required, cardiac PICU preferred, high-risk deliveries, acute care pediatrics 3. Certifications: RRT cert, BLS, NRP required; PALS and ACCS preferred; copies required with submission 4. License: VA State License required; RRT travelers must have license in-hand at submission; others can submit pending but must have Wednesday before start 5. Education: BSN preferred 6. EMR: Epic experience required unless otherwise noted 7. Shifts/Call: 36 or 48 hours available; every other weekend and holiday required 8. RTO: Up to 40 hours guaranteed per 13-week contract; NO RTO allowed for 5/25 and 7/4; no additional requests after acceptance 9. Returning Staff: Must inform if previously employed at UVA Health system; 1-year separation required; cannot return after 365 days total assignment time 10. Travel/Local: Select units have 50-mile restriction; this unit not specified as restricted 11. Background: Must inform Client Delivery Manager of any background hits 12.
