- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required; minimum 2 years RN experience required 2. Cases: Critical Care, General Care, Adults and/or Peds required 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, NALS for Peds required; BLS, ACLS, PALS must be via American Heart Association 4. License: WV or Compact license required; pending license acceptable 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 nights 7p-7a; weekdays, some weekends; float required; no on-call; every other weekend 8. RTO: Must be submitted two weeks prior to next schedule and approved by manager; one pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: Permanent employees cannot return as travelers for 2 years after last date worked permanent; current Vandalia Health System employees not eligible for travel contracts 10. Travel/Local: 100 mile radius for travelers; facility will consider 75-100 miles case-by-case 11. Background: Previous probationary actions on license considered case-by-case 12. Modules: 2-6 hours average, completed prior to start, non-billable, recorded on transcript with certificate 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Provided by hospital 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Not specified Critical: Minimum 2 manager or charge references within past 2 years required.
