- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; will accept first-time travelers with strong pediatric and NICU-focused skillset/experience comfortable in all RRT settings, including adults 2. Cases: Critical Care Respiratory Therapy; must have experience with ALL age groups (NICU-Adult); Level 4 NICU, Pediatrics, ER, Level 1 Trauma, Med/Surge intensive care units 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT; BLS/ACLS/PALS must be AHA only; NRP or AAP only; CPI Certificate required (Calm Every Storm online version only acceptable) 4. License: Must have active MD or Compact License at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12-Hour nights (19:00-07:30); holidays required as scheduled; every other weekend required; floating required within specialty and other units within scope; on-call not required 8. RTO: Must be included at initial submission; cannot exceed 7 days; if more than 4 consecutive days, additional week added to contract; one major holiday allowed during winter season 9. Returning Staff: Former staff must be gone 12 months before returning as traveler; return travelers must be away 6 months from system 10. Travel/Local: Locals under 50 miles not allowed; permanent residence must be 50+ miles from hospital; locals considered at reduced rate 11. Background: Not specified 12.
