- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required; 5 years strongly preferred 2. Cases: 80-100 cases daily; various specialties including eyes, ENT, dental, maxillofacial, urology, GYN, robot, general surgery, peds, trauma, plastics, breast, neuro, ortho spine, ortho, cardiac vascular, thoracic 3. Certifications: BLS required; Will accept STFA or RNFA; Must have 3s or 4s in vein harvesting and cardiac areas 4. License: Valid Michigan license required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Not specified 7. Shifts/Call: 8D/40W or 10D/40W, 7a-3:30p or 7a-5:30p, 40 hours/week guaranteed; Call 12-18 days/month; Weekend coverage 2-3 weekends per month, 4 weekend shifts per contract 8. RTO: Not specified restrictions 9. Returning Staff: 6 months return staff policy 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate, no radius restrictions; Previous travel experience strongly preferred; Travelers first to float 11. Background: Must note any background hits on profile and submission prior to submission 12. Modules: 8 hours non-billable, completed during orientation and annually, self-reported 13. Travel Experience: Strongly preferred 14. Scrubs: Scrub required 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with medical exemptions only; proof required with submission; exemptions must be submitted within 48 hours of signing contract 16. Special Equipment: XI robots, endovascular suite Critical: Must proficiently harvest vein endoscopically and work CVOR independently. CVOR experience required. Trauma Level I experience preferred. Float requirement includes general department coverage. Lab work must be scheduled within 48-72 hours of signing. References required.
