- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required 2. Cases: Chronic Outpatient Dialysis and Acute experience required; Outpt./Chronic required 3. Certifications: BLS required 4. License: NY license required in hand to submit 5. Education: Not specified (alert account manager if traveler has foreign education needing verification) 6. EMR: EPIC experience is a hard requirement 7. Shifts/Call: Monday-Friday 5:30am-10:30pm with 8, 10, or combination of 8 & 12 hour shifts; weekends EOW; occasional Sundays due to holidays 8. RTO: Cannot submit anyone with more than 10 days RTO 9. Returning Staff: 1 year policy 10. Travel/Local: Candidates within 75 miles not accepted; must be greater than 75 miles or offered lower rate 11. Background: Reviewed on case-by-case basis 12. Modules: Billable up to 5 hours; total may reach 10 hours; excess of 5 hours non-billable; completed pre-start; recorded via facility report 13. Travel Experience: First time travelers accepted 14. Special Equipment: 20008T Fresenius machines, Prismaflex, various dialysis-related equipment and alarms Critical: Charge Nurse experience required. Float required to all other dialysis locations. Charge Nurse for 24 chair unit when assigned with 4 patient POD management including stringing and setting up Fresenius machines. Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Weekend shifts per contract on rotation basis.
