- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of recent specialty experience required; must have a full year of in-specialty experience within the past 12 months with no gap in employment greater than 90 days in the past year 2. Cases: Acute Rehab hospital; 30 bed acute med surg status with emphasis on rehab services 3. Certifications: BLS required 4. License: Kansas and Missouri licenses or compact required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required; 3 hours of pre-start EMR modules; RNs have choice to complete EPIC test out option or EPIC module 7. Shifts/Call: 1:6 ratio all shifts; minimum 8 weekend shifts per 6 weeks; floating may be required between departments, units and facilities 8. RTO: 7 day maximum RTO 9. Returning Staff: Tenure policy - 18 months with 3-month break in service required 10. Travel/Local: 75-mile radius considered local; locals not accepted 11. Background: If drug screen results come back "diluted" or positive and cannot be cleared by MRO, assignment will be canceled and candidate must wait 6 months before re-applying 12. Modules: 10-15 hours of modules due Monday 1 week prior to start; Infusion Pump training and Glucometer training must be completed by Sunday prior to start date 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Navy blue for RNs 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: Lift equipment available Critical: Labs must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing. Two references required from past year. No travel partners accepted.
