- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required, 2 years preferred 2. Cases: Level 1 Trauma experience highly preferred; must have recent inpatient hospital experience 3. Certifications: ARRT R, BLS required 4. License: VA state license or compact state license must be in hand at time of submittal 5. Education: BSN preferred 6. EMR: Epic charting experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Candidates will float within scope if needed 8. RTO: RTO should be included at submission, approved by unit manager on WOC; no guaranteed time off; no time off during first week of assignment 9. Returning Staff: Both travelers and permanent staff must be gone for one year before being eligible to return as a traveler 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same base rate; no radius rules for applicants 11. Background: Facility will review all background hits 12. Modules: 6 hours average, non-billable, completed during orientation on VCU Learning Exchange; must be completed by Friday of orientation week 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: VCU has a natural nail policy 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Obtain plain film radiographs on Level 1 Trauma Center using mobile and fixed radiographic equipment Critical: Two references required. ER and Psych candidates require fingerprinting with 15-20 business day turnaround; cannot start with results pending.
