- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1-3 years required in IR with skill in VIR and neuro; 2 years experience required in specialty 2. Cases: Interventional neuro, vascular, CT/US guided procedures; advanced level knowledge on NIR and VIR procedures required including venous access, ablations, angiograms, nephogram, stroke thrombectomy, GI bleed, Y-90, peripherals; kyphoplasty preferred 3. Certifications: ARRT(R), BLS, RTR or RTRVI required; ACLS and ARRT Advanced Cert preferred; advanced registry boards for VI or CV preferred 4. License: KY Radiation Operator's License required before start date; Compact or KY State License required at submission; will not accept any licensure hits 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC experience preferred; must be proficient in charging exams in EPIC 7. Shifts/Call: 4-10 hour shifts M-F with rotating day off; 1-2 call shifts/week; 1 weekend/6 weeks; 30 minute call back time; 2 call teams (primary and backup); PACU call 1 hour response time 8. RTO: Must be presented at time of submission; any time off sent after offer will not be approved; two pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: Gone for 6 months to return as traveler; must know at submission if previously worked at facility for rehire eligibility check 10. Travel/Local: Local travelers within 75 miles not accepted; IR positions have 75-mile radius rule 11.
