Requirements
- Required certification: Rad Tech - Interventional Radiology
- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 18 months required 2. Cases: Diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic procedures from pediatric through geriatric 3. Certifications: ARRT(R) and BLS required 4. License: Current Indiana State Department of Health license in Radiology Technologist required; must be in hand prior to start date 5. Education: University must be accredited by ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation 6. EMR: Cerner experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10s (7:00-17:30); 10 call shifts per month with 1-2 weeknight calls per week (1700-0700) and every 3rd or 4th weekend call 8. RTO: Auto-approved for 5 days non-holiday; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays; facility approval required for more than 5 days 9. Returning Staff: Any permanent or PRN employee must be away for 12 months before applying as traveler 10. Travel/Local: IN residents considered local; accepted for Allied positions at lower rate; floating 100% required within hospital or to affiliate hospitals 11. Background: Must be noted prior to submission for approval 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: First timers accepted 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: GE Innova IGS, Siemens equipment; knowledge of sterile technique required Critical: May be required to scrub into procedures and obtain advance credentials in interventional radiology.
