- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required 2. Cases: Interventional vascular radiology including peripheral angiography/venography with intervention, EVAR, TEVAR, carotid stenting, neuro-intervention including acute stroke, embolization 3. Certifications: ARRT, BLS required; Vascular Intervention Cert preferred; BLS, ACLS, PALS must be via American Heart Association if required by unit 4. License: WV State License or Compact License required; pending acceptable but must be active prior to start 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner charting system 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10 Days M-F, typically 7:30a-6p with on-call rotation; approximately 8 days per month including 1 weekend/month with 30 minute response time; every third weekend required (5-6 total in contract) 8. RTO: Open to accommodating blocked schedule requests within reason; two pre-approved time off periods; RTO should be included on application at time of submittal 9. Returning Staff: Perm employees cannot return as travelers for 2 years after last date worked perm 10. Travel/Local: 100 mile radius rule (75-99 miles considered case-by-case basis with same rate) 11. Background: Any previous probationary actions on license considered case-by-case basis 12. Modules: 2-6 hours average, non-billable, completed prior to start, recorded on transcript with certificate of completion 13. Travel Experience: First time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Blue surgical scrubs issued by hospital 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required unless medical exemption with allergy documented by allergist or physician (October 1st - March 31st) 16. Special Equipment: Fluoroscopy (Siemens & Ultrasound preferred), PACS, vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose) Critical: Floating required to CAMC General for 1 week. Minimum 2 manager/charge references within past 2 years required. Full file due noon Monday prior to start.
