- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required 2. Cases: Interventional Cath, Cardiac Stent Placement, Right & Left Heart catheterization, Rotablader, Thrombectomy, Stents, PCI, PTCA and Balloon Angioplasty 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CCI RCIS or ARRT R required 4. License: If traveler has ARRT - MD State License is required; Must have either compact license or MD license for MD locations 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 1 to 2 call shifts during weeknight Monday-Friday and 3-24 hours weekend call shift per month 8. RTO: No RTO permitted during first two weeks; No more than 7 days per 13-week contract; Must be included at submittal 9. Returning Staff: Previous MedStar employment must have been separated for minimum of one year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 60-mile local radius; Local candidates accepted at lower rate; Candidate's address must match driver's license 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Sitel modules must be completed within one week of signing contract; Modules billable up to 4 hours, average 12 hours duration; Completed pre-start and potentially during orientation 13. Travel Experience: Unit accepts first timers 14. Scrubs: Scrubs provided 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - No Exemptions 16. Special Equipment: Phillips, Mac Lab; ACIST device preferred Critical: Labs and DS appointment must be completed within 48 hours of signing.
