- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required 2. Cases: Special Care Nursery/Level II experience, delivery room experience required 3. Certifications: BLS, NRP, and STABLE required 4. License: DC license in hand required for DC locations; compact license or MD license for MD locations 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Charting system experience required (system name not specified) 7. Shifts/Call: 36 hours day shift, every other weekend coverage required; will float to postpartum for baby care assignments 8. RTO: No RTO permitted during first two weeks; maximum 7 days per 13-week contract; must be included at submittal 9. Returning Staff: Previous MedStar employees must be separated minimum one year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 60-mile local radius; locals accepted at lower rate; driver's license copy required at submittal 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Sitel modules must be completed within one week of contract signing; modules billable up to 4 hours, average 12 hours; completed pre-start and during orientation 13.
