Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a PRN- PICU
Shift: Nights, 7p-7:30a, 12×1, 12hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- NJ License
- 1.5+ Years of relevant experience
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- Required: Experience with Medtronic pacemakers, telemonitoring, standard PICU equipment
- Cardiothoracic surgery experience preferred
- A-line experience preferred
Other Details:
- Charting System: EPIC
- COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Not Required
- Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Unknown
PICU RNs are needed
Required:
– 1.5+ Years of relevant experience
– BLS required
– ACLS Required
– PALS Required
– Cardiothoracic surgery experience preferred
– Must be competent to care for CT patients with ASD (arterial septal defect), VSD (ventricular septal defect), AV Canal Defect, Valve replacements, Glenn and Fontan procedures, TOF (Tetralogy of Fallot), s/p cardiac cath and ablations
– Required: Experience with Medtronic pacemakers, telemonitoring, standard PICU equipment
– A-line experience preferred
– 2 references required prior to submission
– Cancellation Policy: 3 instances of last-minute shift cancellations (defined as within 24–48 hours of the scheduled shift), will be subject to review by the facility to be cancelled or a final warning.
**Must be dedicated to getting into the lab and completing compliance asap
Shift:
– 1900-0730
Orientation Details:
– 1 day orientation at New Brunswick
Additional Details:
– Patient Mix: Peds intermediate Care, Med/surg mix.
– Scrub Color: Navy Blue
– Charting System: EPIC
– 1 year separation for previous staff
– Clinicians can only pick up 2-shifts per week maximum
– Please be aware that the sub review turnaround time could take 1-2 weeks!
Parking:
– First day – agency staff can park in any of the surrounding garage and we will validate the parking tickets.
– During Assignment: $20/every 3 months. Parking will then be assigned by security based on shift and availability. Will either be placed in Pink deck, employee deck or self-park. The clearance for these garages is 7 feet.
