Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a PRN- PICU
Shift: Nights, 7p-7:30a, 12x1, 12hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- NJ License
- 1.5+ Years of relevant experience
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- Required: Experience with Medtronic pacemakers, telemonitoring, standard PICU equipment
- Cardiothoracic surgery experience preferred
- A-line experience preferred

- Charting System: EPIC

PICU RNs are needed
Required:
- 1.5+ Years of relevant experience
- BLS required
- ACLS Required
- PALS Required
- Cardiothoracic surgery experience preferred
- Must be competent to care for CT patients with ASD (arterial septal defect), VSD (ventricular septal defect), AV Canal Defect, Valve replacements, Glenn and Fontan procedures, TOF (Tetralogy of Fallot), s/p cardiac cath and ablations
- Required: Experience with Medtronic pacemakers, telemonitoring, standard PICU equipment
- A-line experience preferred
- 2 references required prior to submission
- Cancellation Policy: 3 instances of last-minute shift cancellations (defined as within 24–48 hours of the scheduled shift), will be subject to review by the facility to be cancelled or a final warning.
**Must be dedicated to getting into the lab and completing compliance asap
Shift:
- 1900-0730
Orientation Details:
- 1 day orientation at New Brunswick
Additional Details:
- Patient Mix: Peds intermediate Care, Med/surg mix.
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
- Charting System: EPIC
- 1 year separation for previous staff
- Clinicians can only pick up 2-shifts per week maximum
- Please be aware that the sub review turnaround time could take 1-2 weeks!
Parking:
- First day – agency staff can park in any of the surrounding garage and we will validate the parking tickets.
- During Assignment: $20/every 3 months. Parking will then be assigned by security based on shift and availability. Will either be placed in Pink deck, employee deck or self-park. The clearance for these garages is 7 feet.
