- Active California RN license required before start
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year of pediatric hospital experience required (Pedi PACU, Pedi PICU, or Pedi ER); 1 year of travel experience required 2. Cases: Pedi PACU, Pedi PICU preferred; airway management, vents, extubation, pain control, cardiac monitoring, fluid and electrolyte management, discharge instructions 3. Certifications: BLS/CPR (AHA), PALS (AHA) required 4. License: CA RN license required in hand or ETA needed for submission 5. Education: Associate's degree required, bachelor's degree preferred 6. EMR: Epic 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10-Hour days with variable start times (10:30 am to 12:30 pm); 1 call shift per weeknight or 1 call shift every other weekend as needed; 1 holiday call as needed; possible standby/on-call based on department needs 8. RTO: 4 days RTO max for 8 week contract; 6 days max RTO mentioned in compliance section; traveler required to work 2 out of 3 holidays 9. Returning Staff: Permanent staff need to wait a year to be eligible to travel 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile local radius; locals not accepted 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable, up to 10 hours to complete for RN; completed pre-start; do not count as orientation hours 13. Travel Experience: 1 year of travel experience required; first-timer travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Any color 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - No Exemptions 16.
