Requirements
- Required certification: OR Tech - CVOR
- 1+ years of experience
- Unit Notes:Unit CVOR Tech (Main/West Campus) - # suites: 6 ORs (1 CVOR), 1 Hybrid room - # of cases per day: 20-30 (1-2 CV or up to 4 TAVR) - Required Certifications: ACLS and BLS for RNs, BLS only fortechs - Common Cases: CABG AORTIC VALVE MITRAL VALVE TAVR - Experience or 'Must have' skills: 1 Year of open heart minimum - M-F 0600-1430 - Scrubbing required - RN's: no - Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: There is a charge nurse as well as specialty leads available as a resource. House supervisor in house from 6pm to 7am only. -Call: on call up to 50% of the time from end of shift to next morning- call response time is 30 minutes Weekends; on call up to 50% of weekends - Hospital provides scrubs - OR techs: They have scrub techs available. - EMR: Cerner Cancellation Policy:4 shifts per contract; 3 shifts if contract is under 13 weeks Charting System:Cerner BSN Required:False License to Submit:No Trauma Level: Care Setting:Acute Division:Allied Shift Notes:Monday through Friday, 0600-1430 with a large amount of call. Required Certifications:BLS Certification
