Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of General OR experience required 2. Cases: Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, Gastrointestinal and Gynecologic robotic surgery, Ortho 3. Certifications: ACLS & BLS required 4. License: Must have either a compact license or an MD license for MD locations; DC license required for DC locations 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Charting System Experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 5x8 0700-1530; Call required - Rotating weekends; 1-2 weekends per contract required 8. RTO: No RTO permitted during first two weeks; No more than 7 days per 13-week contract 9. Returning Staff: Nurses with previous MedStar employment must have been separated for minimum of one year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 60-mile local radius; locals accepted at lower rate 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Facility-specific Sitel modules must be completed within one week of signing contract; billable up to 4 hours, average 12 hours; completed pre-start and during orientation 13. Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted - dependent on years of specialty experience 14. Scrubs: Scrubs provided 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - No Exemptions 16. Special Equipment: Da Vinci Xi Surgical System Critical: Two supervisory references required including one from most recent assignment. Labs and DS appointment must be completed within 48 hours of signing. Patient ratios 1:1.
