- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 1 year required (18 months experience required per compliance notes) 2. Cases: Oncology and hospice cases; mixed general floor with oncology and hospice as primary specialty 3. Certifications: BLS required; Chemo cert preferred; ONS/ONCC, OCN certifications listed; must be AHA or Red Cross only (RQI cards not accepted) 4. License: Must have active IL license in hand at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience required (position specific) 7. Shifts/Call: 4x12 or 3x12 Days (7:15am-6:45pm); no on-call required; will work every other weekend; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays 8. RTO: Auto-approve 5 days of non-holiday RTO or less; anything more requires facility approval 9. Returning Staff: Any permanent or PRN employee must be away for 12 months before applying as traveler 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted with no radius (exception: OR RNs must be 50+ miles from facility) 11. Background: Background policy must be noted prior to submission to seek approval prior to offer 12. Modules: Non-billable up to 16 hours, billable after; completed pre-start then annually; sent Friday before start, must be completed by 4pm CST on first day (Monday); strict deadlines enforced 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Any solid color 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Chemotherapy administration equipment; accessing/managing ports, central lines, PICC lines Critical: Floating 100% required within hospital or to affiliate hospitals. Patient ratio 6-7. SSN and DOB required at submittal. Lab appointment, Docusigns and Badge Photo must be completed within 1 week of signing contract.
