Requirements
- Required certification: Cath Lab Tech
- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission; minimum 1 year required 2. Cases: Coronary angiograms, PCIs, permanent and temporary pacemaker procedures; EP experience strongly preferred; panning and circulating experience ideally in EP as well as heart caths 3. Certifications: BLS, Fluoro Permit required; ARRT required, cannot accept RCIS; ACLS preferred; LA fire card within last 30 days required 4. License: CA state license required, must be in hand 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10s with call required 8 days per month; weekends minimum every other, will likely exceed 8. RTO: Must be included at time of submission; 7 days maximum; must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays 9. Returning Staff: Can return after 3 months; must include previous Providence work history 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius rule; under 50 miles considered local at lower rate 11. Background: Must disclose license/background hits upfront; no open license hits approved 12. Modules: Non-billable, average 16 hours; completed pre-start and annually; over 20 hours requires approval 13. Travel Experience: Required; first-timers not accepted 14. Scrubs: RN - Royal Blue; OR - provided 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Preferred experience with Phillips C arm, Seimens C arm Critical: May be required to float to Providence Mission Laguna. Two supervisory references covering 1 year within last 3 years required. All travelers expected to float between facilities within state.
