Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year minimum; prefer oncology clinic experience; will consider acute Oncology/Hematology experience 2. Cases: Adult hematology patients (both malignant and benign); bone marrow biopsies, phlebotomy, central line care, patient education, triage 3. Certifications: BCLS required; ONS, BMTCN, OCN preferred 4. License: NC or Compact license required in hand at time of start 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 5x8 hours (M-F 8a-4:30p); no call, float, or weekend requirements 8. RTO: Auto approve 7 days or less (not on holidays); more requires approval; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays; no RTO during first week; RTO after booking NOT allowed 9. Returning Staff: Previous Novant Health/New Hanover employees must wait 12 months; facility rehire approval needed 10. Travel/Local: Candidates under 50 miles offered lower local rate; first time travelers accepted 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-acute roles 4-5 hours; must be completed pre-start; recorded via online learning, Zoom, webinar, in-person classes 13. Travel Experience: First time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Not provided; Navy Blue required 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16.
