- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required; 1-2 years preferred; accepts first time travelers with prior hospital experience 2. Cases: Not specified 3. Certifications: BLS, NBCOT required; traveler agrees to obtain all required certs prior to start; will accept pending certs 4. License: Valid state license must be pending or candidate must be willing to participate in Aya licensure project 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Monday-Friday days (start times 0730, 0800, 0830); required to work 1 in every 3rd weekend with flexing off during week to maintain 40 hours; candidates will float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby depending on volume/census 8. RTO: Maximum 10 days; if RTO during holidays, must work 1 of 3 holidays 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone 3 years before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius rule applies; will not accept locals 11. Background: Nursys only 12. Modules: Up to 8 hours within 1 week of signing; 3-8 hours average; completed pre-start; self-reported; billable up to 8 hours 13.
