- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 1 year OT at Acute Hospital; 18 months experience required (refer to job description for exceptions) 2. Cases: CABG & cardiac procedures, stroke, TBI, joint replacement, fracture repairs, respiratory illnesses, dementia, MS, Parkinson, amputation; daily patient load of 7 patients 3. Certifications: BLS, NBCOT required; Manual Therapy and Lymphedema certifications preferred 4. License: IN state license required; must be in hand prior to start date 5. Education: University must be accredited by ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation 6. EMR: Cerner experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Monday-Friday plus one weekend day per month throughout contract; floating 100% required 8. RTO: Auto-approve 5 days non-holiday RTO or less; anything more requires facility approval; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays 9. Returning Staff: Any PERM or PRN employee must be away for 12 months before applying as traveler; consecutive contract policy requires designated break after 12 months 10. Travel/Local: IN residents considered local; accepted for Surgical Services, Allied positions, and IU Clinics at lower rate; not accepted for MS, MS Tele, PCU, ICU, ER positions 11.
