- Unit Notes:Department: Nuc Med Tech *Certifications Required: BLS, ARRT (NM) or CNMT. Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity. **radiation badge provided by client **Driver's license required at submittal and will be used to determine if candidate is outside 50 miles.** **Fingernail policy: Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care- refusal to remove nails will lead to termination of contract NM- is GE Discovery 630 Dual Head 2015 NM PET- GE PET 8 2005 Licenses that would be great but not required in addition to the required- ARRT RT(R), (CT), (MR) How many scanners/rooms does this department have? MRI- 2 Rooms, CT- 3 Rooms, XR - 2 Rooms, 3 portables and several c-arms and O-arm, endo and OR. NM- 1 Room and PET. IR - 2 rooms, Mammo - 2 rooms - Will they float/cover any other areas- only XR/CT licensed techs will float. If MRI and NM techs have the extra licenses- then yes they can float. - Common types of images/studies performed and job duties; varied -EMR and PACS- Epic and McKesson -Shifts and Scheduling-( Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) No- Supervisor has template made -Weekend Requirements- -NM - No weekends, no holidays, no call -Mammo - No weekends, no holidays, no call -MRI - Rotating weeknight/weekend call, holidays - US - Rotating weeknight/weekend call, holidays -XR/CT - Rotating template that includes weekends into the rotation/holidays and 1-3 nights of call -Standby requirement - Yes 30 minutes response time from call -How many shifts of unit /department specific orientation" 1-3 shifts -Additional Notes- Attributes that make a traveler successful in this department is being flexible, positive, and willing to learn and work with everyone, not just in their trained area. Cancellation Policy:Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments that are less than 13 weeks.
