- Active California RN license required before start
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 4 years required 2. Cases: Level 2 NICU; patients 32 weeks and above with diagnoses including Bili, Chorio, Withdrawal 3. Certifications: BLS and NRP required; PALS, CCRN and BSN preferred; copies required at submission 4. License: Valid CA License required at time of submission 5. Education: BSN preferred 6. EMR: Epic charting system experience required; no specific charting experience required per general policy 7. Shifts/Call: Three 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, no call, 2-3 holidays if falls on schedule 8. RTO: Always needs facility approval 9. Returning Staff: Any permanent employee must be gone for at least 6 months 10. Travel/Local: 75-mile radius rule 11. Background: Background policy to be noted prior to submission to seek approval prior to offer 12. Modules: Non-billable, average 7.25 hours, completed during orientation via e-learning, factored in NBO 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown; COVID-19 vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: CPAP, Vapotherm Critical: SSN and DOB required at submittal. Labs must be completed 48-72 hours from signing. Two supervisor references preferred. Candidates will float within hospital when needed. Daily census 3-4 patients, 8-bed unit.
