Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years required (18 months according to general requirements) 2. Cases: Orthopedic elective surgeries (total joint replacement hips, knees, shoulders, spine surgeries), trauma patients needing orthopedic surgical interventions, osteomyelitis and other infections involving skin and bone needing long term IV antibiotics 3. Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred; must be AHA or American Red Cross only - RQI cards not accepted 4. License: Must have active IL license in hand at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience preferred/required (position specific) 7. Shifts/Call: 4x12 or 3x12s Nights (1845-0715), work every other weekend, no on-call required 8. RTO: Auto-approve 5 days of non-holiday RTO or less; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays 9. Returning Staff: Any permanent or PRN employee must be away for 12 months before applying as traveler 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted with no radius (exception: OR RNs must be 50+ miles from facility) 11. Background: Background policy must be noted prior to submission for approval prior to offer 12. Modules: Non-billable up to 16 hours, completed pre-start; sent Friday before start, must be completed by 4pm CST on first day; strict deadlines enforced 13. Travel Experience: Previous travel experience preferred 14. Scrubs: Any solid color 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: Slings, walkers, canes, traction, casts, IV pumps, tube feeding pumps, syringe pumps, hospital beds, PAS boot machines, vital sign monitors, vein finder Critical: Float required to other med surg departments. Skills required: PICC line management, starting and maintaining IVs. Telemetry experience preferred. Lab appointment, Docusigns and Badge Photo must be completed within minimum 1 week of signing contract.
