- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; first timers accepted 2. Cases: ENT, plastics, cystic fibrosis, general surgery, and medicine patients; wide variety of cases in Level 1 trauma facility 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS, CPI, NIHSS preferred 4. License: Pending license accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend required; patient ratios 5-6 all shifts; block schedule accommodated 8. RTO: All RTO must be submitted with application; additional RTO after signing at manager discretion 9. Returning Staff: Cannot work past 1 year as traveler; 6-month break required to return as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 70-mile radius; locals not accepted 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: RN modules up to 5-6 hours, completed pre-start, not billable, recorded on transcripts 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Navy 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Various including chest tubes, high flow nasal cannula, oxygen equipment, telemetry monitoring Critical: Epic charting required.
